Fremantle Italy Promotes Marco Tombolini

Fremantle has promoted Marco Tombolini to sole CEO of Fremantle Italy.

Tombolini will take the helm of all areas and functions of the company, with the senior management of Fremantle Italy reporting to him. He has been co-CEO of Fremantle Italy since May 2022 with Gabriele Immirzi, who has now become co-CEO with Lorenzo Mieli of The Apartment Pictures, a Fremantle company.

Tombolini was CCO of Endemol until 2009, and in 2010, he became managing director of Sony Spain and subsequently managing director of Toro Media and Talpa Italia. In 2018, he joined Fremantle, first as director of the then-Wavy division and then he was chief strategy officer.
