Viaplay Select Arrives on CANAL+ in Austria

Viaplay Group has inked a deal with CANAL+ in Austria for the local launch of the Viaplay Select service.

With the alliance, more than 300 hours of content from Viaplay, including original scripted series, films and documentaries and curated third-party content, will be available to CANAL+ subs in Austria. The branded Viaplay Select service has rolled out in 20 markets since its spring 2022 launch, with further expansion planned for this year. Partners include Crave in Canada, Pickbox NOW in Europe, SBS in Australia, DMD’s CINDIE service in LatAm and WOWOW in Japan.

Titles on offer include Below, The Dreamer—Becoming Karen Blixen, Natascha Kampusch—A Lifetime in Prison and Superswede.
