Young Sheldon Picked Up by E4

Channel 4 is bringing Young Sheldon, a prequel to The Big Bang Theory that follows the life of a 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, to E4 next year.

The 13×30-minute series stars Iain Armitage (Big Little Lies), Zoe Perry (Scandal, The Family, Grey’s Anatomy), Lance Barber (The Comeback, black-ish, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Annie Potts (GCB, Designing Women, Love & War), Montana Jordan and Raegan Revord (Modern Family, Grace and Frankie). Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory, The Normal Heart) narrates as Adult Sheldon.

The comedy, which just made its U.S. debut, is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. International Television Distribution.
