Lagardère Studios Taps Digital Business Head

Thomas Plessis has been appointed as the director of digital business at Lagardère Studios.

Plessis will define, roll out and coordinate the digital business of Lagardère’s companies and brands. He will be charged with providing support for the group’s producers in France and abroad, promoting productions on social media and identifying development opportunities.

In 2002, Plessis launched his first consulting and production company, Shingumi (Play 6 SARL). In 2006, he co-founded the website radiopodcast.com, which was bought by the Lagardère Group in 2008. He later joined Lagardère Active Radio International, where he became head of radio programs and digital development, then programs director at Virgin Radio France. In 2012, Plessis joined H2O Productions. Since 2014, he has been the director of Dim Sum Entertainment, which he co-founded.

Christophe Thoral, the president of Lagardère Studios, remarked: “Thomas brings his expertise in both content and digital strategy to the table, which is a definite asset to strengthen the position of Lagardère Studios.”
