New Program Scheduler for HISTORY Netherlands

A+E Networks UK has made two new appointments in its Amsterdam-based Benelux office, including Marit Huiskamp joining as program scheduler for HISTORY Netherlands.

Huiskamp will look after scheduling for the new Dutch feed for HISTORY, which is due to launch later this summer. The localized feed will provide opportunities for advertisers and sponsors as well a more customized programming schedule for the Netherlands. Prior to joining A+E Networks UK, Huiskamp spent several years working at RTL, where she was responsible for broadcasting schedules, channel promotion and content creation.

Eva Schouwenaar will join the company in the role of marketing manager. Schouwenaar will be responsible for all marketing activities in the region, including the development and growth of the digital community as well as feeding into content strategy.

Both Huiskamp and Schouwenaar will report to Jessica Haagmans, regional director for Benelux.
