Leadership Team Bolstered at A+E Networks UK

LONDON: A newly expanded leadership team has been appointed at A+E Networks UK with the promotions of Adrian Pilkington, Izabella Wiley and Mark Neil.

Pilkington was elevated to senior VP of commercial strategy and general manager for the Nordics, Benelux, Middle East and Africa. Wiley, who serves as general manager of A+E Networks Poland, is being upped to general manager for Poland and CEE. Neil, the company’s current VP of finance, now becomes VP of finance, legal and operations.

In his new role, Pilkington is charged with the company’s commercial strategy, including channel distribution, digital distribution and ad sales. He will also manage the company’s offices and local teams in Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Johannesburg. Wiley was hired by A+E Networks UK as general manager for Poland in 2013. Her responsibilities are being extended to include CEE territories. Neil’s promotion, which comes just three months after he joined the broadcaster from Scripps, sees him also taking on oversight of operations and legal.

These promotions are effective immediately. All three execs will work under Dean Possenniskie, the managing director of A+E Networks EMEA.
