More Esperanza Mía for Spain

TEL AVIV/BARCELONA: Spain’s Planeta Junior has taken 60 additional episodes of Dori Media Group’s romantic comedy series Esperanza Mía (My Lovely Hope) for the Spanish channel Nova.

This agreement follows on from a previous deal to acquire the first 120 episodes of the Dori Media International and Pol-ka Producciones co-production. The additional episodes of Esperanza Mía (My Lovely Hope) will air on Atresmedia’s channel in Spain. It tells the story of a forbidden love between a young woman posing as a nun, and a priest.

The show has recently sold into several countries, including Hungary, Poland, Indonesia, Bolivia and Israel. In addition, TV Azteca in Mexico has acquired the format.
