Sky Adds New Commissioning Editor

LONDON: Deborah Sargeant, formerly an executive producer at Tiger Aspect, has been appointed as commissioning editor of entertainment for Sky.

She will be executive producing entertainment series across the Sky channels, which includes Sky 1 HD, Sky Living HD, Sky Atlantic HD, Sky Arts HD and Sky Movies HD.
 
Prior to joining Sky, Sargeant worked as executive producer at Tiger Aspect on a range of entertainment projects that included E! Live from the Red Carpet at the 2012 BAFTAs for Monkey Kingdom, When Piers Met Andrew Lloyd Webber, Justin Lee Collins: Good Times, Britain’s Best Brain and When Billie Met the Real Call Girl. As a series editor she worked on the International Emmy award-winning How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria?, Gordon Ramsay’s F Word, Beat the Star and Big Brother.
 
She joins fellow Sky entertainment commissioners Antonia Hurford Jones and Jonathan Rothery on a team led by Phil Edgar Jones, the head of entertainment for Sky.
