Prime Video Renews Reacher for Fourth Season

Prime Video has ordered a fourth season of Reacher, ahead of the third season’s premiere in 2025.

In the third season of the show, based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s best-selling series, Persuader, Reacher must go undercover to rescue an informant held by a foe from his past. Alan Ritchson and Maria Sten are reprising their roles in season three.

Additional cast members for the third season are Anthony Michael Hall, Sonya Cassidy, Brian Tee, Johnny Berchtold, Robert Montesinos, Daniel David Stewart and Olivier Richters.

This series renewal comes a week after Prime Video announced it ordered a Reacher spin-off, an untitled project about Sten’s character, Frances Neagley.

Reacher is produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television and CBS Studios. It is written for television by Emmy-nominated writer Nick Santora (FUBAR, Prison Break), who also serves as showrunner. Author Child, Santora and Ritchson are executive producers, alongside Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, as well as Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell.

Reacher has become a phenomenon that continues to resonate with our global customers beyond our wildest expectations, and we are thrilled to bring the series back for an additional season,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM Studios. “We are looking forward to more action and adventure from the immensely talented team behind the series, including Nick Santora, Alan Ritchson, Lee Child, Skydance and CBS Studios.”
