The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has lined up a session featuring David W. Zucker, chief creative officer of Scott Free, and Rola Bauer, executive producer for Amazon MGM Studios, during its Business Content event on June 16.

Zucker and Bauer will discuss their partnership on international co-productions such as The Pillars of the Earth (STARZ/Channel 4), The Company (TNT) and Labyrinth (Channel 4), as well as their current collaboration with writer Michael Hirst (Vikings) for the limited series Pompeii: A Day of Fire.

The Monte-Carlo Television Festival is running from June 14 to 16, and Zucker and Bauer’s session will take place on June 16 at 5:45 p.m. during the Business Content event.

“As the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has been a loyal and perfect partner in premiering many of my productions, the opportunity to riff on the journey to date with my dear friend, David, should provide a fun, entertaining and hopefully enlightening exchange for the Business Content participants,” Bauer said.

“I’m sincerely grateful to have a first-ever experience at the Festival and muse with Rola about the wild journeys, as well as the wonders that lie ahead,” Zucker commented. “These are truly transformative days, where respected partnerships and long-valued relationships are essential to navigating the madness.”
