In Development Issues Call for Entries

The inaugural In Development event to fast-track drama series productions, organized by MIPTV and CANNESERIES, has issued a call for entries.

The two-day event will take place in Cannes on April 10 and 11, 2018, alongside MIPTV and CANNESERIES. The initiative will allow producers and creators to pitch projects to commissioning editors, platforms, distributors, co-producers, funds and talent agencies. The call for entries is open to established producers and new voices.

A committee will pre-select a first round of projects from the entries to be reviewed by an international jury of drama experts, who will determine which ones are pitched on stage at In Development. Submissions must be received by January 8, 2018, with official selections to be unveiled by the end of February.

The selected entries, in addition to being given a platform at In Development, may also be eligible for funding from the event’s partners, Federation Entertainment and French think tank La Fabrique des Formats.
