Brazilian Medical Drama Under Pressure Scores MBC Pickup

Globo has licensed the medical drama Under Pressure to the MBC Group, bringing the show to audiences across the Middle East and North Africa.

A co-production between Globo and Conspiração Filmes, Under Pressure follows the staff at an under-resourced hospital in the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. This high-tension setting serves as the backdrop for an unlikely relationship between the skeptical Dr. Evandro (Julio Andrade, Above Justice) and the religious and efficient Dr. Carolina (Marjorie Estiano, Dangerous Liaisons).

MBC Group has also picked up the telenovela Rock Story, set in the music industry. Both productions will air on MBC 4.
