It was filmed across 104 locations and features 70 main cast members and 150 supporting cast members from Saudi Arabia, the Arab region and beyond. Over 17,000 extras were used.

A total of 4,700 costumers were created for the series, with wardrobe design led by Yasmine El Kadi. For scenes at sea, more than 35 interior and exterior designs were built exclusively for the series.
