Production Begins on Incendo Film from Director Jean-François Rivard

MONTREAL: Incendo has kicked off principal photography on its latest film, FANatic, directed by Jean-François Rivard (Série Noire, Les Invicibles).

This marks the first time Incendo is working with the award-winning Rivard. FANatic tells the story of Tess, the female lead of a successful sci-fi series who longs to leave the sexist and stereotypical role. When a leaked photo indicates that her real-life husband has been unfaithful, Tess turns to her trusted assistant for support, but soon discovers that she may not have made the best choice.

Jean Bureau, the president and CEO of Incendo, said, “We are delighted to be working for the first time with Jean-François Rivard, whose talent is exceptional and undeniable.”

FANatic stars Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad, Life in Pieces) alongside Canadian actors Benjamin Arthur (Less Than Kind, American Pie 4) and Katy Breier (The Calling, The First Day of My Life). The film is being shot in Montreal and is produced with the participation of Bell Media.

Bureau and Ian Whitehead will produce the film on behalf of Incendo. Bureau will also serve as executive producer.
