MIPCOM Spotlight: Blue Ant International

A girl is on a mission to decide her career path in the STEM-themed series When I Grow Up!, from Blue Ant International’s children’s catalog.

“Mikaela speaks directly to her audiences as she navigates through the world of science and technology to determine what she wants to do when she grows up,” says Solange Attwood, the executive VP of Blue Ant International.

News of the Wild is a factual-entertainment program that puts a comedic spin on a broadcast news report for kids ages 7 to 10. “The series is hosted by two young anchors, alongside onsite kid news correspondents, who keep nature fans up-to-date with the latest from the animal kingdom,” says Attwood.

Detention Adventure comprises an ensemble cast and marks Blue Ant’s first scripted show for children. There is also a third season of The Inspectors.

In addition, the company is presenting a slate spanning documentaries, factual entertainment, nature and wildlife, and scripted and digital studios.

Docs on offer include Prison, Cold Valley, How to Defuse a Bomb and Blue.

Factual entertainment highlights are Great Escapes with Colin & Justin, Hellfire Heroes, John Torode’s Middle East, Crazy Beautiful Weddings II, Lakefront Luxury II, Best Cake Wins II, Collision Course II, Haunted Case Files II and 100 Day Renovation.

On the nature and wildlife side, there are Surviving the Amazon, Supersenses, Colombia’s Wild Coast, Animals Decoded, Undiscovered Vistas III, In for the Kill, Wild Latin America, Into the Wild Colombia and Into the Wild India.

Scripted and digital studios offerings include Sidemen, Deep Space 69 and Lastman.
