Viki Scores Raft of Taiwanese TV Shows

SAN FRANCISCO: The online video service Viki has lined up agreements with such Taiwanese broadcasters as Gala Television (GTV), Taiwan Television (TTV), TVBS, Sanlih E-Television, Next TV and CTI TV to bring nearly 900 hours of new programming to its roster.

Viki signed exclusive, first-window distribution in the U.S. and throughout the Americas for shows such as Angel ‘n’ Devil (GTV), The New World (TTV), Boysitter and Rose Battle (TVBS). Viki is also the official global media partner for TTV’s star-studded 2015 Superstar: A Red & White Lunar New Year Special. The popular countdown celebration begins streaming February 18.
