Sony Pictures Television Names SVP of Distribution for Oz, NZ

SYDNEY: Greg Sneddon has been named senior VP of distribution for Australia and New Zealand at Sony Pictures Television (SPT), replacing Mark Young, who is now the senior VP of distribution for the U.K., Africa and Ireland.

Sneddon is based in Sydney and is responsible for managing and growing SPT’s distribution activity across Australia and New Zealand, leading all film, TV and formats licensing negotiations for the company across broadcast and digital platforms, as well as the expanding SVOD market. He will also work closely with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on transactional VOD. Previously, Sneddon served as executive director of distribution and strategy for Australia and New Zealand at Roadshow, where he had operational and management responsibility for the company’s TV and digital distribution business.
