Mediacorp in Singapore is adding a dedicated Toggle channel for esports events taking place during the 30th SEA Games.

This year’s SEA Games marks the first time that esports will be a medal event at a multisport competition sanctioned by the International Olympic Committee. Singapore will be sending 20 athletes to compete in all six esports events, including Arena of Valor, DOTA 2, StarCraft II, Tekken 7, Hearthstone and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

The esports channel joins three other Toggle channels that will provide coverage of the SEA Games for Singaporean audiences. In addition to esports, they will feature competitions in athletics, aquatics (diving and swimming), badminton, basketball, football, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, gymnastics, boxing and sepak takraw.
