Mediacorp Pacts with The One Enterprise

Singapore’s Mediacorp has signed a content partnership with The One Enterprise, a division of Thailand’s GMM Grammy, covering almost 400 hours of drama and variety shows.

The pact includes about 130 hours of drama from the Singaporean broadcaster being made available on Channel GMM 25 in a weekend prime-time slot. The titles, among them A Quest to Heal and Hello from the Other Side, will also be made available ONE31 and GMM 25’s YouTube channel. GMM 25 has also licensed almost 50 hours of variety content from Mediacorp, including King of Culinary and Battle @ Water Margin.

Meanwhile, Mediacorp’s free-to-air Channel U and video streaming platform meWATCH will be home to some 200 hours of drama content from The One Enterprise, including Only You I Need.

This deal is testament to the quality of Mediacorp’s content and our strengths at telling authentic local stories that also resonate with overseas audiences. In bringing in popular titles from The One Enterprise, we continue to cater to the tastes and preferences of viewers who enjoy watching Thai dramas.”
