Lionsgate’s Rohit Jain Takes On Expanded Responsibilities in Asia

Lionsgate has renewed the contract of Rohit Jain, who has been promoted to managing director for South Asia and network platforms for emerging markets in Asia.

Jain is now responsible for spearheading growth across all of Lionsgate’s South Asian businesses and expanding the Starz subscription platform throughout the emerging markets of Asia. Since Lionsgate established its first office in India in 2018 under his leadership, Rohit has led the growth of its Asian operations by launching the Lionsgate Play streaming service across multiple emerging Asian markets. He has also been instrumental in establishing a South Asian licensing and distribution business to strengthen Lionsgate’s footprint in the region.
