discovery+ Lands India Deal with Jio

Expanding its presence in India, discovery+ has sealed a deal to launch on Jio set-top boxes.

The deal brings the streaming service to JioFiber users in multiple languages, including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.

JioFiber users on Rs 999 and above plans can access the discovery+ app on their set-top boxes. discovery+ is available on a standalone basis for an introductory price of Rs 299 a year.
