Discovery Preps Digital-First Shows in China

Discovery has unveiled three co-productions with digital platforms in China, including a local version of the Say Yes franchise with China Mobile’s Migu.

Say Yes to the Dress: China, based on the TLC franchise, will encompass 12 episodes for launch on Migu video and IPTV and China Mobile OTT platforms. First Man Out of China is a six-part series, based on Discovery’s survival show, for bilibili with explorer and adventurer Ed Stafford. The Day I Ran China, featuring young aspiring professionals from all over the world, will premiere on Mango TV’s digital platform in Q3. All shows will also air on Discovery’s channels in China, Taiwan, Japan, Southeast Asia and other international markets.
