Astro Adds Apps to Ultra Box

Malaysia’s Astro has launched the beIN SPORTS CONNECT, iQIYI and TVBAnywhere+ apps on its Ultra Box.

The beIN SPORTS CONNECT app on the Ultra Box brings major European football leagues such as the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League LIVE and on-demand in addition to over 3,000 hours of live tennis, including the ATP Cup and Laver Cup.

iQIYI boasts of lineup of C-dramas, including Love Like the Galaxy, starring Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi and iQIYI exclusive local original melodrama starring Fasha Sandra, Afieq Shazwan and Aidil Aziz, Rampas Cintaku; longtime hit Japanese anime series such as One Piece; and local dramas such as 7 Hari Mencintaiku 3, Kerana Aku Isteri Bidaan and Cukup Derita Itu.

The TVBAnywhere+ app offers a library comprising the latest drama series, variety shows, evergreen classics and unlimited TVB originals such as the crime drama Against Darkness, variety show Super Trio Returns, supernatural reality show Ghost Bushwhacker and Scoop, an infotainment program that discusses the talk-of-the-town topics.
