Astro Adds WeTV to Ultra Box Offering

Astro has signed a deal with China’s Tencent to begin offering WeTV on Ultra Box, providing its customers with a wide array of Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Southeast Asian and Malaysian series and movies.

Astro customers can access the streaming service by adding WeTV VIP to their subscription. They will be able to have advanced access to new and exclusive content, skip advertisements and watch shows on two devices at the same time.

The WeTV lineup features Chinese dramas Prosecution Elite (coming soon), The Love You Give Me, Love of Replica and Lost You Forever (coming soon); Indonesian series Layangan Putus and Antares 1 & 2; and Chinese anime such as Soul Land, Swallowed Star, Perfect World and Throne of Seal.
