Asian Academy Creative Awards Unveils Details of 2022 Event

The Asian Academy Creative Awards has shared details regarding the ceremonies and conference events that will take place in Singapore in December.

The Grand Awards and Gala Final will be staged over two evenings at Singapore’s Chijmes Hall, a historic location where a wedding scene was filmed for the hit feature film Crazy Rich Asians. The Grand Awards will be held on December 7, while the Gala and AAAtv red carpet are set for December 8.

The National Winners Conference will be staged across the morning of the same two days.

The AAAtv Red Carpet will welcome the public and be seen live around the world, but the awards ceremonies will be attended exclusively by invitation and will be broadcasted in various countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

Fiona McKay, the Asian Academy’s CEO, said: “We hope the historic chapel grounds will inspire quite a few ‘production marriages’ during the conference. Certainly, within our region, the pandemic is still [top of] mind so we’ll be staging the awards across four unique sessions and turning around the audience each time to ensure a more controlled environment. That said, we want to be able to maximize the networking and B2B opportunities that drive global sales and production alliances.”
