Timeless Heads to Channel 4

LONDON/CANNES: The new U.S. time-travel drama Timeless has been sold by Sony Pictures Television (SPT) to the U.K.’s Channel 4, which will launch the show on E4.

Timeless debuted on NBC in the U.S. to 11.1 million viewers, making it the number one series premiere of the week with adults 18 to 44. The series has also been sold to OSN to broadcast across the Middle East. In Europe, the drama was picked up by Spain’s Movistar, AXN in Portugal and Fox in Italy. In the Asia-Pacific region, the series was acquired by AXN in Japan, Viacom 18’s Colors Infinity in India and Sohu secured Timeless exclusively in China.

Keith LeGoy, the president of distribution at SPT, said: “Timeless offers viewers a thrilling and boisterous ride through time to revisit some of the most pivotal moments in our collective history. It’s brilliantly written and produced—a show with truly global appeal.”
