As part of a newly inked partnership with NBCUniversal International Distribution, 9Now and Nine will become the new on-demand and broadcast home for all new Bravo U.S. programming from 2020.

Uplift, empowerment and support for underdogs were themes that enthused a disparate mix of foreign program buyers at an L.A. Screenings session on the NBCUniversal lot Tuesday.

Buyers in Los Angeles will have the chance to screen a bevy of new shows from NBCUniversal International Distribution, among them Bluff City Law with Jimmy Smits.

NBCUniversal International Distribution is heading to ATF this year with fresh highlights such as Magnum P.I. and The Enemy Within.

Two new dramas, New Amsterdam and The Enemy Within, are among the highlights from NBCUniversal International Distribution for DISCOP Johannesburg.

PREMIUM: Buyers got to sample a full plate of new series over at the NBCUniversal studio lot during the week, with considerable enthusiasm for a new medical drama based on a bestseller about New York's Bellevue hospital called New Amsterdam.

NBCUniversal International Distribution will be screening the new Magnum P.I., a modern take on the classic series, for buyers next week.

PREMIUM: NBCUniversal's Rise and The Brave, Sony Pictures Television's S.W.A.T. and Lionsgate's Ten Days in the Valley were among the shows being sampled by buyers as the L.A. Screenings came to a close.

PREMIUM: New procedurals from Sony Pictures Television and NBCUniversal were given high marks by several buyers as they near the end of the screenings in Los Angeles. After sessions on the Sony lot, multiple buyers throughout the week have told World Screen Newsflash that procedurals are the best bet for their linear channels back home and thus are pleased that Sony scored with a pick-up on NBC of spin-off Blacklist: Redemption, while several other acquisitions execs over at Universal have given high marks to the fourth installment of Dick Wolf’s Windy City-set dramas, Chicago Justice. Moreover, a number of buyers pointed to this or that “little gem,” as one called them, that they will earmark for discussion once back home. “Start-Up for Sony’s digital platform Crackle was really good,” suggested Anette Romer, the head of acquisitions and formats at Denmark’s TV2. The hour is set in Miami and toplines Martin Freeman of Fargo and Sherlock fame.
