Buyers in Los Angeles will have the chance to screen a bevy of new shows from NBCUniversal International Distribution, among them Bluff City Law with Jimmy Smits.

Smits, of NYPD Blue fame, stars alongside Caitlin McGee in the brand-new legal drama, which is slated for Mondays on NBC this fall. Brittany Snow leads the cast of Not Just Me, airing on FOX on Wednesdays this fall. Friday Night Lights’ Jason Katims is among the EPs.

Kal Penn is both an executive producer and star of the new comedy Sunnyside, about a former politico bouncing back from a downward spiral by helping a diverse group of hopefuls who dream of becoming American citizens. NBC has given the show a Thursday night slot for the fall.

Council of Dads, which has landed on NBC’s midseason slate, counts among its EPs Doubt creators Joan Rater and Tony Phelan, as well as Jerry Bruckheimer.

NBCUniversal International Distribution is also shopping Duncanville, an animated comedy from Amy Poehler slated for FOX midseason; and The Kenan Show, with Saturday Night Live alum Kenan Thompson, slated for NBC midseason.
