L.A. Screenings: New from Sony Pictures Television

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) will be screening for buyers Lincoln, inspired by the best-selling book The Bone Collector, among other series.

Russell Hornsby and Arielle Kebbel star in the new drama. It is set for NBC’s midseason slate.

Indebted, also set for NBC midseason, is a family comedy from writer Dany Levy that counts among its cast Fran Drescher. The series follows young parents Dave and Rebecca, who are ready to reclaim their life after years of diapers and sleepless nights. However, things take an unexpected turn when Dave’s parents show up unannounced and broke, leaving Dave with no choice but to open the door to the people who gave him everything.

Inspired by the life of Isaac Wright Jr., For Life is a serialized legal and family drama about a prisoner who becomes a lawyer, litigating cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he didn’t commit. ABC has slated the show, which is executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, for midseason.

United We Fall, a series on ABC’s midseason roster, is a family sitcom featuring Will Sasso (MADtv) and Christina Vidal (Training Day). The half-hour comedy centers on a Latinx Catholic family.
