Nicely Entertainment and its genre-themed sub-label Darkly Entertainment are bringing a slate of films to Berlin’s European Film Market (EFM), including Hunting Housewives.

The Lifetime Original stars Denise Richards. A Cowboy Christmas Romance, starring Jana Kramer, as well as its QVC+ Original The Recipe Files, featuring Ashlee Simpson, are also on the slate.

Darkly Entertainment leads with its Adam Beach elevated thriller Exile, as well as its brand new 2024 Christmas crime film Holiday Hold-Up, starring Jermey Holm and John Pirruccello.

The company has brought the slate to Berlin’s EFM after closing a flurry of deals during Miami’s NATPE conference.

Heading into the market, Nicely has already closed several international deals during Miami’s NATPE on its line-up, including a package deal with the U.K.’s Channel 5, lead by A Christmas Frequency and The Abigail Mysteries, Holiday for Hire, A Christmas Vintage and The Christmas Venue. Nicely also locked a package of films with CEE’s NBCUniversal, including One Perfect Match, Romance at the Vineyard, Baked with a Kiss and Love in Bloom. MENA distributor Italia Film secured the disaster film Super Icyclone, along with A Christmas Frequency and Finally Me, while Phars Film scooped up the MENA rights to Bad Connection for a theatrical release in the region.

Nicely CEO Vanessa Shapiro said, “We’re thrilled to return to EFM with a full slate of brand-new movies. This represents Darkly Entertainment’s first EFM and we know that both movies Exile and Holiday Hold Up will find a new audience around the world.”
