The Monte-Carlo Television Festival has revealed it will be honoring Pierre Arditi with the Crystal Nymph Award in recognition of his lifetime contribution to television.

Over his 60-year career, Arditi has established himself as one of the most prolific French actors. His roles in series such as Sauveur Giordano and Le Sang de la Vigne have demonstrated his ability to move between drama, comedy, crime and social storytelling. His more recent performances in Ce que Pauline ne vous dit pas and Le Grand Restaurant affirm that his talent remains 60 years later.

Arditi will be presented with the award at the opening ceremony of the 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival on June 13 but His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

“Pierre Arditi epitomizes television that is both popular and exacting, accessible yet refined,” said Cécile Menoni, executive director of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. “His loyalty to the medium, his enduring appeal across generations, and his exceptional body of work make him a natural choice for this award. We are deeply honored to celebrate his career in Monte-Carlo.”
