Netflix’s Lucifer resurrection tops the May edition of the Social Wit List, which features data and analysis from The WIT about the most-tweeted-about new shows to premiere around the world.

Netflix picked Lucifer up for a fourth season after it was canned by FOX. Based on analysis of about 109,000 Twitter comments, viewers found the new episodes on the streamer to be #BolderAndSexier and #PushingBoundaries. Fans #HopingThereWillBeASeasonFive will be thrilled to know that Netflix has commissioned a new batch of episodes (but will be disappointed to hear that season five will be the last).

In second place with about 77,000 comments is Game of Thrones: The Last Watch, HBO’s behind-the-scenes doc about the epic show’s last season. Audiences were touched by the #EmotionalCastReunion and declared that they would #MissThemSoMuch. Some even felt that it was #BetterThanGOTsFinalEpisode.

Netflix’s second entry on the Social Wit List in May is Ava DuVernay’s critically acclaimed event miniseries When They See Us, about the five Harlem teens who were wrongfully convicted for the 1989 rape of a woman in New York’s Central Park. Consensus from viewers was that the series, featuring #ExtraordinaryCasting, was #RealAndDisturbing and #HardToWatch because of #AllThisInjustice.

A new Globo novela, A Dona do Pedaço, generated about 48,000 mentions over its #BeautifulStory, #StellarCast, #GreatSoundtrack and #BrilliantMainActress.

ABC’s Live in Front of a Studio Audience: Norman Lear’s ‘All in the Family’ and ‘The Jeffersons’ scored about
35,000 Twitter mentions as it restaged episodes from the two classic sitcoms. Fans were #InLoveWith the #FunnyRemake, hailing the #AmazingPerformancesFromTheCast.

Good Omens, backed by an extensive marketing campaign from Amazon Prime Video, was well received, with viewers declaring it to be their #NewFavoriteSeries and #TrueToTheBook.

Audiences were also happy to see the return of Paradise Hotel to FOX, calling it a #TwistedButFunFormat that is #DramaPacked.

Netflix is back on the list again with about 15,000 mentions for its new rom-com Always Be My Maybe
, a movie that the streamer’s subscribers described as #FunnyAndCute with an #OriginalPlot and #GreatChemistry between the two leads. Plus, viewers #LoveTheSoundtrack.

The top ten includes another Brazilian telenovela, Record TV’s Topíssima, which #ExceededExpectations by #StartingOffWithABang and featuring #ActionMysteryAndHumor.

Rounding out the May edition of Social Wit List is another Netflix title, the film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, about notorious serial killer Ted Bundy (played by Zac Efron), as seen through the eyes of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer. Viewers were moved to comment by the #ImpressivePerformances and #ChillingStory.
