Jury Set for Series Mania International Competition

PARIS: For the first time at Series Mania, a jury has been put in place to judge the international shows that will have their premiere screenings at the event.

David Chase, creator of The Sopranos, leads the judging panel. He will be joined by Yaël Abecassis, an Israeli actress (Kadosh, Live and Become); Amira Casar, a French actress (Saint Laurent, Versailles); Tony Grisoni, a British screenwriter (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Southcliffe); and Fanny Herrero, a French screenwriter and creator of the series Dix pour cent.

From the eight series in competition, the jury will select the winners of the Grand Prix and the prize for best screenplay, announced during the closing ceremony on Sunday, April 24.
