Judges Revealed for BLE’s 2018 License This! Contest

The judges across two categories have been unveiled for this year’s License This! competition, which is taking place during Brand Licensing Europe (BLE) in London.

The character and entertainment judges are Dan Grant, director of licensing for Danilo Promotions; Nikki Samuels, licensing director at Sambro; Clare Piggott, managing director of Larkshead Media; Julia Redman, head of buying at M&Co; and Steve Manners, executive VP of CPLG. The brand and design judges are Stuart Cox, founder of I Like Birds; Vicki Thomas, owner of Vicki Thomas Associates; Sarah Lawrence, owner of This Is Iris; Jehane Boden Spiers, owner of JEHANE; and Will Stewart, managing director of The Point 1888.

License This! is being chaired by Kelvyn Gardner, managing director of Lima UK. Cristina Schiavone from Wynne-Jones is the sponsor and cross-category judge.

The contest is currently accepting entries until September 14. This year’s two winners will get a stand at BLE 2019, PR support and a year-long Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA) membership.
