Dynamic Picks Up Australian Comedy How to Stay Married

Dynamic Television has acquired the worldwide distribution rights for the new Australian comedy How to Stay Married.

Created, written, and executive produced by Peter Helliar (I Love You Too, Storks) and directed by Natalie Bailey (Thick of It, Loaded, Hoff the Record), the 8×30-minute series stars Lisa McCune (Blue Heelers, The Divorce). It will premiere on Australia’s Network Ten next month.

“Comedies set within dysfunctional families are some of the most successful shows on television,” said Daniel March, the managing partner for Dynamic. “Peter has created a hysterical, feel-good series that tackles the many challenges married couples face. We are excited to partner with Princess Pictures on this global problem!”

“We’re thrilled Dynamic Television has seen the international appeal in this funny, bittersweet and honest look at family life. The characters and their challenges will be recognizable the world over and there’s a lot of fun to be had as they attempt to answer the question of how to stay married,” added Andrea Denholm of Princess Pictures.
