BritBox is set to bolster its collection of British content by expanding its partnerships with Kew Media Distribution and Endemol Shine International, per two deals closed at MIPCOM.

The deals will bring over 250 more hours of content to the U.S. and Canada. BritBox will expand its roster of British shows from past and present with Line of Duty; Thorne: Sleepyhead and Thorne: Scaredy Cat, starring David Morrissey (The Walking Dead) and Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, Peaky Blinders); and Pointless, a BBC One game show.

Also included are titles such as the cult favorite panel show 8 out of 10 Cats hosted by Jimmy Carr and the mystery-spy classic MI5, starring Peter Firth, Matthew Macfayden and Keeley Hawes, among others.

BritBox is now available for $6.99 per month—after an introductory free trial period—on Roku, Apple TV 4th Generation, all iOS and Android devices, AirPlay, Chromecast and online at www.britbox.com. BritBox is also offered as an Amazon channel available for Prime members on all Amazon Video capable devices and platforms.

“Our relationship with both Kew Media Distribution and Endemol Shine continues to grow,” said Soumya Sriraman, president of BritBox. “This new deal is just another instance that BritBox is committed to bringing the best of British content to our communities all on one service.”
