Amy Schumer Stand-Up Special Coming to Netflix

BEVERLY HILLS: A brand-new comedy special from Amy Schumer is set to launch globally for Netflix members on March 7.

The stand-up special was taped on November 5 at Bellco Theater in Denver, Colorado. Schumer has become one of the most notable names in comedy/entertainment, with credits such as Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer, the movie Trainwreck and the best-selling book The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo.

Ted Sarandos, the chief content officer at Netflix, said: “As a comedian, actress, writer, director, producer and best-selling author, Amy Schumer is a boundless threat and a one-of-a-kind talent. We couldn’t be more excited that she’s making Netflix her home for her next stand-up comedy special.”
