Keshet International Taps Revital Basel

Keshet International (KI) has hired Dori Media veteran Revital Basel as managing director of KI Networks.

Basel will oversee and facilitate the creative collaboration and flow of information between KI’s production hubs around the world. She will also be responsible for identifying and executing non-scripted co-developments and co-productions with third parties, as well as catalog presale and post-sales. The newly created role sees her reporting to COO and president of distribution, Keren Shahar.

The move reinforces KI’s commitment to investing in non-scripted projects following its recent acquisition of a majority stake in Greenbird Media.

Shahar said, “We are thrilled Revi is joining the KI team at a time when we are committed to bringing more great stories to life for global audiences. She’s well-loved and well-respected within the industry and her diverse experience and relationships will prove invaluable as we continue to grow and innovate, with a particular focus on developing our non-scripted slate via creative co-productions and co-development partnerships around the world.”

Basel added, “I’d like to thank Dori Media for giving me the opportunity to hone my skills and talents with them over the last 10 years. I am really excited to be joining the Keshet International family and to begin working with all of our international production hubs across the world, including the teams in the U.S., U.K., Germany, India and Mexico. We have a wealth of creative talent and new ideas in-house that I can’t wait to harness and start developing creative collaborations with international channels and producers, many of whom I already know.”
