Twentieth Television, FremantleMedia Partner for Syndicated Game Show

LOS ANGELES, January 10: Twentieth Television is working
with FremantleMedia North America on Temptation, a half-hour game show strip for the U.S. syndication market based on
the format Sale of the Century.

The show has been cleared for a fall launch on ten
MyNetworkTV affiliates owned and operated by Fox Television Stations, including
stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington and Dallas, among
others. The clearances represent 24 percent of the U.S. market.

Temptation sees three
contestants trying to win cash by answering a series of questions about pop
culture and current events. The winning contestant is the individual with the
most money. Throughout the program, opponents are tempted to spend their money
on high-end prizes at bargain prices. Prizes featured on Temptation will be available to viewers for discounted purchase
via phone or at the program’s official website.

In its original U.S. format, Sale of the Century aired on NBC between 1983 and 1989. In the U.K., the
program aired on ITV1 last October, attracting an audience of 9 million
viewers. It was ranked number one in its time period throughout the 1990s in
Australia before taking a brief hiatus and in 2005 it returned as Temptation. Local versions have also performed well in Hong
Kong and Paraguay.
