Vlad Wolynetz to Lead Production at FilmRise

TV industry veteran Vlad Wolynetz has been appointed head of production for FilmRise’s newly launched television production division.

Wolynetz will collaborate with CEO Danny Fisher, President Jack Fisher, CFO Goetz Grossmann and the entire FilmRise team as the company moves into financing and co-pro deals with major TV networks and streaming platforms, production studios, and creative talent in both scripted and unscripted formats.

Wolynetz most recently was a co-executive producer on Waco, The Mist and Tut. Before that he worked at Cineflix Studios, where he oversaw the production of scripted projects. He previously served as senior VP at BBC Worldwide Productions, where he was also co-exec producer on Torchwood. Earlier in his career, Wolynetz worked at AMC as VP of production, series and movies, with such credits as Mad Men, Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead. He also created AMC Studios.
