TNT Orders Claws Pilot

ATLANTA: A scripted dramedy set at a nail salon from exec producers Rashida Jones and Will McCormack has been given a pilot order by TNT.

Claws is an hour-long dramedy set in a Southern Florida nail salon from Le Train Train and Warner Horizon Television. It is being written by Eliot Laurence and focuses on the rise of five Florida manicurists in the world of organized crime. Laurence’s credits include the dark comedy feature Welcome to Me.

Claws is the second show from Jones for Turner this year—she stars in and produces the cop-show parody Angie Tribeca on TBS.
