CBS Renews 11 Series

NEW YORK: For the 2016-17 season, CBS has handed out renewals on 11 series, including the dramas Blue Bloods and Madam Secretary and the reality hits Survivor and The Amazing Race.

CBS previously ordered new seasons of The Big Bang Theory and NCIS. On the drama front it has renewed the two other shows in the NCIS franchise, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, alongside Blue Bloods, Elementary, Hawaii Five-0, Madam Secretary and Scorpion. On the comedy side, Mom and 2 Broke Girls will be back on the schedule in the 2016-17 season, as will the reality stalwarts Survivor and The Amazing Race.

CBS will finish this season as America’s most-watched network for the 13th time in 14 years. Season to date it also claims the number one spot in adults 18 to 49 and 25 to 54.
