ATLANTA: The entire first season of the upcoming Rashida Jones police comedy Angie Tribeca is set to air commercial-free in a 25-hour broadcast marathon on TBS, with the second season debuting shortly after.

The scripted series’s international multiplatform launch has been scheduled for January 17, with all ten episodes airing on the linear channel from Sunday at 9 p.m. to Monday at 10 p.m. The chapters will also be available through TBS’s VOD, digital and mobile platforms. Episodes from the second season will launch weekly across TBS platforms each Monday starting January 25.

Angie Tribeca is the brainchild of Steve and Nancy Carell, who executive produce through Carousel Television. The procedural spoof stars Jones as a lone-wolf detective who is part of an LAPD squad in charge of solving heinous crimes. Jones's character isn't happy when she is given a new partner to work with.

On the international front, Turner’s Latin American and German networks are set to join the 25-hour marathon on January 17, while Spanish, Nordic and Asian networks (both truTV and Warner TV) will premiere all first-season episodes at one time.
