Sean Cohan Joins Nielsen as Chief Growth Officer

The global measurement and data analytics company Nielsen has made three new appointments, including tapping A+E Networks alum Sean Cohan as chief growth officer and president of international.

Cohan spent 15 years at A+E Networks, having served as president of international and digital media. He joins from Wheelhouse Group. In his role at Nielsen, he will oversee the growth strategy, partnerships, corporate and business development, and all Nielsen international businesses, including Gracenote Metadata, Nielsen Sports and outcomes offerings.

Peter Bradbury, currently executive VP and managing director of the U.S. media sellers group, has been promoted to chief commercial officer for the U.S. Bradbury has spent 24 years at Nielsen, spanning roles of increasing responsibility across the fast-moving consumer goods and media businesses.

Karthik Rao, formerly chief product, technology and operations officer for global media, has been named chief operating officer of Nielsen Global Media. His 20 years at Nielsen have been spent across business lines, geographies and industries with a particular time in the Asia Pacific and the U.S. Immediately prior to this role, he was CEO of the Gracenote business.
