Projects from Jodie Foster, Carlton Cuse on USA Development Slate

UNIVERSAL CITY: USA Network has unveiled a development slate that includes new projects from Amy Poehler, Jodie Foster and Carlton Cuse, among others, and has announced a cast-contingent pickup of Universal Cable Productions' Stanistan.

Stanistan focuses on State Department workers, covert CIA officers and journalists on the American compound in a fictional Middle Eastern country.

Development projects include, from exec producers Jodie Foster, Bob Cooper and Bill Wheeler, Brand. FremantleMedia North America in association with Landscape Entertainment is behind the drama, about a minister working to save his small-town church from the threat by a new mega church. Boom, from ABC Signature, is about a young husband and wife who move to a contemporary boomtown and are seduced by the sudden wealth of frontier life. Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions are teaming with Lost alum Carlton Cuse on Colony, set in a 2015 Los Angeles that has been occupied by alien forces. Michael Bay is among the exec producers on The Farm. The book Hidden America is the basis of Control, set amid the world of air traffic controllers, from Fox Television Studios. Rounding out the drama series slate is Mr. Robot from Universal Cable Productions.

The limited series in development include Border Lord, about Mexican drug cartels, and Sony Pictures Television's The Swap, about a couple swept up into a murder investigation and a kidnapping gone wrong when they swap homes with another couple to vacation on the Cook Islands.

David Janollari is exec producing the comedy Love the One You're With. Also in development on the comedy end is Moguls, with Jessica Biel among the exec producers, and Difficult People, with Amy Poehler.
