New WWE Series Heads to ION

STAMFORD: A new WWE series, featuring stars from Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown, is slated to premiere on ION Television this October.

The general-entertainment network, available in some 100 million homes, will premiere WWE Main Event on October 3, airing the show every Wednesday night. The series will feature in-ring action and reference story lines from Monday Night Raw (which airs on USA) and Friday Night SmackDown (broadcast on Syfy).
