Lifetime Orders Surviving R. Kelly Follow-Up, Epstein Doc

Lifetime has greenlit Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath, a four-hour follow-up documentary special, and is developing Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, which will center on the infamous financier who is alleged to have sexually abused underaged girls.

In addition to Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath and Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, Lifetime is moving forward with its plans for a Wendy Williams biopic and a companion documentary on her life. The network has also given the green light to College Admissions Scandal (working title), a two-hour movie that will center on the true-life story in which more than 50 individuals, including actresses Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman, were accused of criminally conspiring to influence the undergraduate admissions decisions at top universities.

Further, Lifetime has set the premiere date for Patsy & Loretta, a film that follows the friendship of country music’s Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn, for Saturday, October 19, at 8 p.m.
