Leftfield Entertainment Shakes Up Exec Team

NEW YORK: ITV America’s Leftfield Entertainment has promoted four casting, programming and human resources executives.

Head of talent Gretchen Palek has been elevated to senior VP of talent and casting at Leftfield Entertainment. Palek, who joined Leftfield in 2014 and reports to David George, the CEO of Leftfield Entertainment, will continue to work across all Leftfield Entertainment companies. She now adds the responsibility of overseeing all talent and casting initiatives for the company, in addition to managing the day-to-day operations of talent relations across current series.

Meanwhile, executive producers Simon Thomas and Caroline Self have been promoted to the roles of VP of programming at Leftfield Pictures and Sirens Media, respectively. Thomas previously served as executive producer at Leftfield Pictures and will report to George. Self joined Sirens Media in 2009, and has served as an executive producer on the Bravo series Real Housewives of New JerseyThicker Than Water and Manzo’d with Children. She will report to Sirens Media’s senior VP of programming and development, Lucilla D’Agostino.

In addition, Genevieve Croteau was named VP of human resources at Sirens Media. After joining Sirens Media in 2009, Croteau began overseeing staffing, recruiting and HR for the company in 2013. She reports to co-presidents Rebecca Toth Diefenbach and Valerie Haselton.
