Former AMC Program Planner Joins Lifetime

NEW YORK: Krista Sonne, who was formerly the VP of program planning and scheduling for AMC, has been named the VP of scheduling at Lifetime Networks.

In her new role, Sonne will develop and implement all original and acquired program scheduling strategies for Lifetime, LMN and Lifetime Real Women. She will report directly to Christian Drobnyk, the senior VP of scheduling and acquisitions of Lifetime Networks. Sonne is based in New York. Prior to joining Lifetime, Sonne was the VP of program planning and scheduling for AMC, where she produced and executed scheduling strategies for all of the network’s critically acclaimed original series, including Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Killing and The Walking Dead.
