Dana Sharpless, Steve Sicherman Upped at 20th Century Fox TV

Dana Sharpless and Steve Sicherman have been appointed to lead the current programming department of 20th Century Fox Television, looking after drama and comedy, respectively.

Sicherman started at 20th as director of comedy followed by stints as VP of current and drama development. Sharpless began her career as an assistant in the 20th Century Fox Television drama department working her way up to her current position as senior VP of current programming.

The pair will report to Carolyn Cassidy, 20th Century Fox Television’s president of creative affairs. In their expanded roles, they will oversee a team of executives responsible for managing the studio’s wide-ranging slate of live-action television series for all networks, cable and streaming services. Sharpless will manage the slate of dramas, and Sicherman will oversee the label’s comedies.
